Francis Ayodi ( is joining Mushroom Kenya to fill our open position in Admin Assistant. His first day is Wednesday, February 6.

Francis has worked for a number of years in administration post and we are delighted to welcome him to our team. If you see Francis around the building, know that he is part of our team. He will participate in employee on boarding activities for her first couple of weeks on the job.

Oyster Mushroom Substrate Sterilization

We use wheat straw to grow oyster mushrooms in Kenya. Below is how we prepared our substrate. 1. Chopping the straws in smaller peieces of 3-4cm 2. Soak in lime water for 5mm 3.
